ok regarding getting haoxia a digicam... couldn't agree more. can ask a friend's friend working at canon to see if she can help us get it cheap. was looking at the ixus 70 myself but decided against spending more money. anyway, from that friend's friend, the ixus70 is going for $465 with a 2GB SD card (retail price $529). errr, not much of a saving lah, but still... shall we try?
also checked out the ixus 850 awyong suggested. it has similar specs to the ixus 70 actually, but the price.. ok let's just say it retails for $699, so after getting staff price it may still be a tad expensive?
once the our batch is agreeable the messages shall start going out to the seniors and juniors. speaking of which, we haven't decided on a place and time for our big day on 20th may. and we need to make sure that haoxia can join us on that day too.

i suggest we get some other camera brands like sony cybershot, olympus, nikon, or even kodak. canon ixus cameras are well known for the price - and most reviews say they are good but pricey, and the price probably comes with just the additional design factor. not exactly worth the money. i'll go look out for cheap cameras meanwhile, and i think someday we would need to drop by pen plaza to get it. hopefully not rina and i again...
oh and essential brews doesnt have good food! :( i think we can maybe ask rimmel to book her condo's function room and get some buffet or something? at least we have somewhere we can all gather, talk, play some stupid games and have fun yeah. more interaction?
